AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)-Renewal

Service Description

The AHA BLS course is designed to train healthcare personnel to quickly recognize a number of life-threatening emergencies, provide high-quality chest compressions, administer ventilations, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED). This class is for aspiring EMT's, paramedics, employees of healthcare facilities, and firefighters. It meets the requirements for Nursing, Physician Assistant, Medical, PT/OT schools/medical programs. This option is for those BLS Providers who have an active BLS Provider Card coming up for Renewal. If your current BLS Provider Card is expired, you must take the AHA BLS Initial Course. "Each student must have the current appropriate course textbook readily available for use before, during, and after the course." Please note that the cost of the provider manual is not included in the course and must be purchased before attending the course.
