AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) Skills Session

Service Description

This AHA BLS Skills Session is designed for students who have already completed the online portion of the American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) course and need to complete the required hands-on skills session to earn their BLS Provider certification. During this session, students will demonstrate essential BLS skills, including high-quality CPR, rescue breathing, and proper use of an automated external defibrillator (AED), in accordance with AHA guidelines. This option is ideal for healthcare professionals, EMTs, paramedics, firefighters, and students entering nursing, physician assistant, medical, physical therapy, occupational therapy, or other healthcare-related programs who have already completed the required online coursework. Important Requirements: Students must complete the AHA BLS online course before attending the in-person skills session. Please bring proof of completion of the online course to your scheduled skills session. This service is for students who need to complete the hands-on skills portion only. The online course is not included in this session. Class Minimum: At least two students must be registered and paid for the session for the class to proceed. If only one student registers, the session may need to be rescheduled until the minimum enrollment is met. Certification Cards: AHA BLS Provider eCards may take up to 28 days to be issued, although most are received within 72 hours of successful course completion. Please ensure you have completed the online portion before scheduling your skills session.
